Navy by" uses unique materials produced by Komatsu Seiren, a world-class fabric manufacturer in Japan. The collection has been attracting attention both in Japan and abroad, including collaborations with Nick Worcester and others up until last season.N. HOLYWOODThe special collection is a unique reinterpretation of military items in collaboration with Daisuke Ohana, a designer of the "MILITARY" brand.
The collection consists of seven types of wear and one type of shoes. Each is a gem of an item that condenses Mr. Ohana's unique world view. Here is a full view.
MA-1 ¥58,000+tax, QUILTING LINER JACKET ¥46,000+tax
The MA-1, with a design that reverses the front and back sides, uses PrimaLoft, a superfine microfiber material used in cold weather gear by the U.S. Army and Navy, in Komatsu Seiren's fabric. This is a piece of clothing with excellent warmth retention and lightweight properties. The quilted jacket is designed so that the inner liner can be worn separately, and has a zipper on the front and an inside pocket. The hem has a drawcord for silhouette adjustment.
N-3B ¥68,000+tax, EASY PANTS ¥18,000+tax
The N-3B is a simple, lightweight coat without the fur and padding that are usually included, and in addition to the reversed front and back design, the drawcord waist and adjustable buttons at the cuffs are must-see fine details. Easy pants in jodhpur silhouette made of synthetic material. The waist and inseam are roomy, and they taper down to the hem. The pockets are seam pockets for easy access.
LONG SLEEVE T SHIRT ¥15,000+tax, VANS SLIPON ¥15,000+tax
This long-sleeved T-shirt is made of synthetic material with unique moiré and wrinkles that accentuate the vintage look. In addition to the raglan sleeves, the generous body width allows for a relaxed fit. Vans slip-ons adorn the feet of the collection. The navy suede body is boldly crossed with navy smooth leather in different tones, inspired by military duct tape.
VANS T SHIRT ¥12,800+tax, SHORT SLEEVE T SHIRT ¥12,000+tax
The T-shirt with the same design as the slip-on is made of a shrinkable synthetic fiber material that stretches as the body moves, making it a very comfortable piece to wear. The short sleeve T-shirt on the right, also made of synthetic material, has a roomy body width, just like the long T-shirt above.
