Sublimating their strong love for dance music with live dub processing and humor, the Ijat Boys will return to Japan for the first time in four years!
They are credited with establishing the "disco dub" genre. The effects of dub, which abstract the concrete, amplify the pleasurable nature of sound and create a unique groove. The sound can be a bit dangerous and numbing, but the Ijat Boys, who celebrate their 30th anniversary this year, have chosen songs with a festive feel that will surely put you in a trance-like state on the floor. It is a "swamp" sound that once you get into it, you can't get out.
Starting with today's party at Omotesando VENT, the tour will visit Toyohashi grand space Quark, Enoshima OPPA-LA, Fukuoka KIETH FLACK, Osaka NOON, and Nagoya Club MAGO. All of these venues are very particular about their sound, so it will be interesting to see what kind of groups will be born at the parties in each location.
