There are probably many people, myself included, who have never even seen a ballet properly. For those of us who have never seen ballet, we tend to think of ballet as a beautiful dance that fits the words "lofty," "elegant," and "flowing. I had never imagined that ballet dancers have tattoos.
However, when you watch the documentary film "Dancer Sergei Polunin: The World's Most Elegant Beast," which opens in theaters on Saturday, July 15, that image will be shattered, and you will see that ballet is a physical art that possesses two extremes: beauty and intensity.
