Have you heard of the Red Bull Air Race, founded in 2003? It is a motor sport in which the world's top class race pilots compete in terms of piloting skill, accuracy, and flight time. Using special race planes, the pilots race for the fastest time around a course made up of 25-meter-high pylons inflated with air. The maximum speed is up to 370 km/h. The race attracts a large number of spectators every year and is hotly contested. In Japan, the third round of the 2017 season was held on June 3 and 4 in Makuhari, Chiba.
This year, the official timekeeper of the "Red Bull Air Race" will be the watchmakerHamilton, Hamilton.Hamilton has always had a strong connection with the aviation industry. The "Official Timekeeper" model is finished in the iconic Red Bull colors, with blue indexes and red second hand. The "Team Hamilton" model has a black dial accented with orange hour markers. The orange represents Hamilton's ambassador, top racer Nicholas Ivanov. Both watches are available in 38mm and 42mm cases, and are simple watches that can be worn every day.
