Julius Tart Optical's masterpiece eyewear is given a new lease of life. We have specially ordered Continue!

The eyewear brand "Tart Optical" was established in New York in the early 1950s. Following in the footsteps of Tart Optical, JULIUS TART OPTICAL was newly established by Richard Tart, the nephew of the founder, and others.

This time, CONTINUER, an eyewear store in Ebisu, collaborated with the brand, which values such American vintage. The collaboration includes special order colors of "AR" and "FDR," two of the brand's most popular models.

The "AR" is the brand's most popular model. This model is a faithful reproduction by Julius Tart Optical in 2017 of a masterpiece called "ARNEL" that Tart Optical produced when it was founded. Incidentally, "ARNEL" is known to have been used by famous celebrities such as James Dean and Johnny Depp.

For this special order, we have colored the "AR" in a translucent olive green. Available in two sizes, 44 and 46, you can choose whichever you prefer.

FDR" is named after the initials of former U.S. President Franklin Delano Roosevelt. The combination of the thick, straight browline design, the gorgeous three-point caulking, and the extra-thick temples make this a pair that stands out for its presence. The coloring is olive green with a clear texture, the same as the "AR" mentioned above. This special order color gives the "FDR" a new look.
