Photographer Rinko Kawauchi captures the fresh vitality and dangerous moments that seem to break when touched.

Kawauchi's latest photo book, "Halo," which attracts a great deal of attention at each exhibition, will be released. Prior to the release of the book, a photo exhibition will be held at POST and Morioka Shoten, and the book will be on sale at the two locations.

Halo" is the first original photo book to be shot entirely digitally in four years since "Amatsuchi" was released in 2013.

Halo" means "halo" or "halo" and is also the name given to the region of the galaxy encircled by a globular cluster of stars. It depicts the latent relationship between nature and humanity, and the strength of life that is akin to prayer, encompassing fear and stillness in the darkness, and hope and joy in the light.

Included are countless migratory birds that have been photographed since his commission work for the Brighton Photo Biennale in 2010, as well as countless migratory birds that continue to circle. At a festival called "Lanjhua," which has been held for more than 300 years in a village in China's Hebei Province, brave men melt scrap iron and smash it against a wall in place of fireworks. And the sacred fire that is lit on the beach at Inasa in the evening to welcome the eight million gods and goddesses at the Shinyosai Festival held at Izumo-taisha Shrine in October of the lunar calendar, known as the "kamizaituki" month.

I have seen a series of his works at "Gallery 916" in the past, and they elicited feelings of godliness, awe, and other emotions on a scale rarely experienced by other photographers.

We hope you will witness Rinko Kawauchi's newfound talent, which is a further leap forward from her previous works.
