ISSEY MIYAKE EYES is the brainchild of Miyake Design Studio and Kaneko Eyeglasses. ISSEY MIYAKE EYES combines simple geometric forms such as circles, lines, and rectangles to create eyewear with a sense of the unexpected.
The new "GEOMETRY" color lineup, born from the combination of circular and rectangular shapes, is now available. The lineup will include two types: Boston and round.
The round shape has a calm khaki frame with light green lenses. The front side is flat with fewer irregularities, adding a twist to the familiar round shape. The back side, on the other hand, features soft lines with dropped edges for a comfortable fit. Despite the radical design, we have not forgotten to pay attention to functionality.
The other Boston shape has pink-beige frames and light brown lenses, creating a soft atmosphere reminiscent of spring, which is just a little ahead of us. Another detail common to both types is the hinge. An original metal plate was designed to create a gap between the front and temples , giving the impression that the front is floating when worn.
GEOMETRY" is perfect for those who are looking for a different kind of eyewear. Although it consists of only two shapes, a round and a rectangle, the look of the Boston and round eyewear is very different, so we recommend that you try it on for yourself.
