A review of the entire Columbia PFG x HOUYHNHNM FISHING CLUB lineup once again. It's a bit of a short list, but it's really good stuff.

HOUYHNHNM FISHING CLUB, whose motto is "fun, fun, fun, chill out," has once again collaborated with Columbia's fishing line, "Columbia PFG," after a year and a half! The products will be released sequentially starting tomorrow, February 16 (Friday).

The street-like design is designed for everyday use as well as practical use in fishing. The color palette includes black, navy, and dark olive, a chic color palette that is not unlike outdoor wear.

First of all, HOUYHNHNM FISHING CLUB's take on the fishing vest, which is one of Columbia's roots. It is a fishing vest that samples pocket designs from various years and models and re-edits them, so to speak, to take the best of both worlds, and as you can see, it has a lot of storage space and is easy to use. The large game pocket on the back is recommended for outdoor festivals. It also has hand warmer pockets, which are not often used in fishing vests.

Next up is the anorak, which is rarely seen in fishing wear. Like the vest, the mesh pocket is a key detail of this collection. This pocket has a two-layer construction inspired by the chest pocket of the Bahama shirt, a representative model of the Columbia PFG. In addition, the windproof neck is double-layered with a zipper under the snap buttons, and functional details are scattered throughout. HOUYHNHNM FISHING CLUB recommends layering this item with the previously introduced vest.

The silhouette of the pants is roomy, prioritizing ease of movement, but the hems are tapered to allow for leg movement in the field. The gusset crotch, which is used in climbing pants, is applied to the inseam to provide a wide range of motion, allowing for spur-of-the-moment movement without difficulty. Asymmetrically designed cargo pockets are located on both thighs. Like the anorak, these pockets are double-layered, so they will come in handy in any situation.

A hat is an essential item for summer fishing, when you are exposed to the hot sun for long periods of time. That is why we designed this hat with a sunshade. It covers your neck well, so you don't have to worry even in strong sunlight. The sunshade can be wrapped around the hat and fastened with a drawcord, so it can be worn in a variety of styles. A drawcord around the neck keeps the hat from flying off in gusts of wind. The length and angle of the brim were also carefully selected to create the ideal hat.

Lastly, an updated version of the mini shoulder bag that was very popular last time. The body size has been enlarged to fit two lure cases. The outside pocket with flap has two layers, each with adequate storage space. The daisy-chain shoulder strap can be used to hook a carabiner or a plastic bottle. It is sure to be useful in all kinds of situations, from everyday use to outdoor festivals, not to mention fishing in the open water.

The collaboration collection consists of the above five models.

This is the second collaboration between Columbia PFG and HOUYHNHNM FISHING CLUB. We are naturally satisfied with the results, as we put all of our favorite ideas into the garments, assuming that we would wear them ourselves. The design and colors are designed with everyday use in mind, so even people who don't fish can wear it with their usual enthusiasm.
