The relaxed silhouette, hemmed design, and pleats at the knees are reminiscent of M-65 cargo pants, but the finished product is one that makes you want to groan, as expected of Jil Sander.
What made me groan was the design work, which was an example of subtractive aesthetics. The pants lack the cargo pockets and side adjusters that should be present on M-65 cargo pants. Thanks to this, the pleats on the knees stand out clearly.

This is supported by a brushed-up silhouette with a modern sensibility and light, lustrous cotton. This is the best example of a response to the theme of sublimating work into mode.
The zipper fly with silver metal at the tip and the pocket flaps cut out in a square shape also add a nice touch.
Even with the usual tops, these pants will instantly make you look more sophisticated.
One of the loose-fitting pieces has a zip-up design and metal parts.
