This year, Tasaki, one of Japan's leading jewelers, is celebrating its 70th anniversary since its establishment. To commemorate this anniversary, the anniversary exhibition "Floating Shells" will be held from April 26 (Fri.).
As the title suggests, the design of the venue and key visuals are based on the image of a "floating shell. This is a word that indicates the past history and future adventures of Tasaki, which began as a pearl farmer and has created products that fascinate people of all kinds.
Among the several highlights of the exhibition, this article will focus on the gorgeous limited items that will be on display at the exhibition.
First of all, as you can see, these are Asics sneakers, and you can see that the Tasaki pearls blend in well with them.
Balance Signature Sneakers ¥176,000 (available in 23.0-28.0 cm)
Daininger Fang Sneakers ¥165,000 (available in 23.0-28.0 cm)
The signature "GT-2160" by "ASICS" is expressed in soft colors typical of "Tasaki. The photo shows two pairs from the Signature line. In addition, there will be a pair from the Luxury line, priced at over 2 million yen, and a pair of Art Beads (pictured below), priced at over 4 million yen.
TASAKI70th Pearl Sequence Sneaker ¥4,411,000 (available in 24.0cm and 25.0cm)
Next up is a collection of eyewear in collaboration with "Ivan," and among the eight different designs, we picked out one that is easy to match with street casual wear. The corners of the frames are decorated with pearls.
Daininger Neo sunglasses ¥132,000
And finally, earphones adorned with Akoya pearls. The earphones are made of Balance Neo and Dainjer Fang, two of Tasaki's signature jewelry designs.
The key point is not only the appearance, but also the sound quality. The sound that flows is designed to have depth and breadth, and to produce extended mid and high frequencies.
All of them are items that defy the conventional wisdom of pearl jewelry. Please enjoy their beautiful designs at the exhibition.
