City Country City" continues to expand its world view through surprising connections with not only global brands such as "Clarks" and "Marmot," but also with its partner, the famous gyoza restaurant "Gyoza no Osama" in Asakusa, Tokyo.
The friendship between "City Country City" and Weber, a nomadic vintage clothing store, led to a collaboration with "War," a band that led the American West Coast funk scene in the 1970s.
The design adopts the jacket of the album "THE WORLD IS A GHETTO" that contains the song of the same name that became the origin of the brand name, as well as the artwork of the UK version of "LOWRIDER" 12 inches that can be cited as one of the representative songs of the band. The lineup of T-shirts and coach jackets is a basic lineup that pays homage to the band that can be said to be the origin of the band.
