RIP SLYME hosts an annual live event calledRIP SLYME presents Midsummer WOW". This year it will be held on July 16 and 17 at STUDIO COAST in Shinkiba, Tokyo.
This year, the first 2-day event will be held on the 16th with Awesome City Club, CRAZY KEN BAND, and FLYING KIDS, and on the 17th with Dragon Ash, FIRE BALL with HOME GROWN, MONGOL800, Monster Rion, and many more artists who have been friends for a long time. The lineup included artists that RIP SLYME members respect and admire, as well as artists that they have known for some time, such as Dragon Ash, FIRE BALL with HOME GROWN, MONGOL800, and Monster Rion. It is truly a big party in the middle of summer.
In the evening, "Midnight WOW," an adult summer night party derived from "Midsummer WOW," will also be held. This will be held for the first time this year, with KANDYTOWN, THE OTOGIBANASHI'S, MONKEY TIMERS, and many other notable artists performing at Shinkiba ageHa late at night. This is a special party for adults by adults who want to play until morning.
In addition, "HEINEKEN SILENT SHOUT BOX @ Midsummer WOW" will be exhibited for two days on the same day. In this box, you can enjoy lip-syncing to RIP SLYME's summer tune "Rakuen Baby." In addition, the lip-syncing will be filmed by multiple cameras and combined with effects, animation, and images from various angles to create "your own original music video. The result is a "your own original music video" that makes everyone feel as if they are a member of RIP SLYME.
