Harajuku is now so crowded with people every day that it is hard to feel any trace of the Corona disaster. Harajuku is a town where various cultures intersect and is loved by men and women of all ages, but we must not forget that behind this love affair are the creators of Harajuku culture, including the directors of legendary apparel brands, the photographers who have led the street snap culture, and the owners of restaurants and barbershops that have taken root in the town. We must not forget that there were also the creators of Harajuku culture.
This time, we introduce the exhibition "Harajuku and the Intense Life," focusing on eminent members of the Harajuku community who will be handed down to future generations. The venue for this exhibition is Harakado at Tokyu Plaza Harajuku, which opened on April 17 (Wed.) as a place to create and experience new Harajuku culture.
This photo exhibition will be held for one week only, from Monday, April 29 to Sunday, May 5.
At the exhibition, portrait photographs that capture the deep life of its creators will be on display, with a focus on the long history of Harajuku culture. In addition, special tabloids produced especially for this event will be distributed, so if you have even the slightest connection to this town, why not visit the venue?
Posters announcing the event will be displayed throughout Harajuku during the exhibition period, so be sure to check them out as well. For more information on the event, please check the following link.
