Nanamika has prepared an opportunity for you to think and feel about the ocean. A variety of items exclusive to the event are available.

The temperature is getting warmer, and it's time to go to the beach. According to the calendar, July 15 is the day of the sea, and Nanamica is currently holding an event titled "nana Umi ca no Hi" (nana sea day) in advance of this date. Exclusive items and items related to the sea are on sale.

Among the various items available, we would like to introduce this aloha shirt. It features a design by Ryu Mieino, the Kyoto-based graphic designer who created the artwork for the event logo.

Incidentally, the motif of this overall design is an endangered species of coral (edamame). Mr. Mieno drew this design in the hope that it will encourage people to think about the ocean.

Next up were glasses by Deku Kobo, a glassblowing studio in Ise, Mie Prefecture. The glassware was picked up with an image of the surface of the sea and small waves. Perhaps it was my imagination, but just looking at the finished product made me feel cool. The glassware is made of recycled glass, and this is a very unique selection by "Nanakami.

Items printed with works by photographer Jiro Konami are also available. Long T-shirts and T-shirts will be available, each featuring a dynamic photo of Mr. Onami's work on the ocean.

In addition, a pop-up store featuring books selected by SAKANA BOOKS, a bookstore specializing in books about fish, aquatic life, and the natural environment, will be held exclusively at nanamica DAIKANYAMA.

Nanamica D.W.S." and "nanamica KOBE" will also sell pearl jewelry by "su Ha," a jewelry brand that uses natural materials and is handcrafted by Japanese artisans.

This "nana sea ca day" will be held at three "nana mica" stores until Sunday, July 21. During this period, customers who purchase at least one of the products introduced in this article or 5,500 yen or more will also receive a soda in an original design can.

Of course, the natural ocean is great, but NANAMICA seems to be teaching us how to enjoy the ocean from multiple perspectives, from clothes and goods to accessories and books.
