The "Olympic Games" are about to begin. To coincide with the Games, OMEGA has unveiled a new watch, the Paris 2024 Bronze Gold Edition.
OMEGA, the official timekeeper of the Games, pays homage to the medals of the Olympic Games.
The feature is the use of all the gold, silver, and bronze in the medal.
What this means is that the 39 mm diameter case is made of the original alloy bronze gold, the dial is made of Ag925 silver, and the hands are made of 18K Sedna TM gold. As you can see, this is a very luxurious creation.
The retro look is based on a watch released in 1939, a turning point for the brand in a sense, as OMEGA became the official timekeeper of the Olympic Games in the 1930s.
Another highlight is the "Clous de Paris" pattern in the center of the dial , a decoration derived from French craftsmanship.
, and a large frosted medallion on the caseback to signify Paris.
The movement is the OMEGA Co-Axial Master Chronometer caliber 8926. This movement is hand-wound and is based on the 30T2 used in the past.
In addition to the watch, a special box decorated with the Paris logo comes with a certification card showing that the watch has passed the Master Chronometer test conducted by METAS (the Swiss Federal Office of Metrology and Accreditation).
