Charity event from ParisHOPE & LOVE DAYwill be held on August 5 (Sat) and 6 (Sun). This event was started by Noriko Ishizaka, a fashion coordinator, and a group of Paris-based women involved in fashion in the wake of the Great East Japan Earthquake. Proceeds from the event, after minimum necessary expenses, are donated to those affected by the Tohoku and Kumamoto earthquakes.
Fashion designers, photographers, hair and makeup artists, manicurists, illustrators, florists, cooks from Paris and Tokyo, and many others active in creative genres have gathered for this event. The number of repeat visitors is increasing each time the event is held. Held every August, this year's event marks the 23rd.
The venue for this year's event is the TRUNK (HOTEL) opening preparation room, a few minutes' walk down Aoyama-dori from Omotesando Station, Tokyo. A bar will be open after 5:00 p.m. on the 5th, in addition to the free maket. You can also enjoy wine, shochu, and other alcoholic beverages.
