CTC STORE and miemaru studio collaborated with an artist to create this bomber jacket, a piece that is peaceful both when worn and when taken off.

Autumn has arrived so suddenly that summer is hard to remember. The days are a little hot but the nights are chilly. The unclear season can be frustrating, but there are clothes that accompany you through the season.

It's the kind of rough one that you leave at your desk in a messy way and wear only when you need it, and when you go out, you can hang it on your shoulder or hold it in one hand. This one piece of clothing seems to be a good fit.

."CTC STOREand "miemaru studio", and furthermore, the artist "David BicariThe "M" was added and a special three-way jacket was created.

David Bicari is a Montreal-based artist who started drawing new pictures with flower motifs after the Corona disaster. He says that behind his new work was his desire not to forget to smile during a pandemic, and two Japanese brands fascinated by his illustrations made a love call to him, which led to the realization of this project.

This time, we asked him to draw the graphics and create a collaborative jacket.

It is based on a bomber jacket made of duck fabric dyed black and treated to show bite and fade easily. The brown lining is made of a wool blend fabric with a raised texture to provide warmth.

No detail is left out. The front zipper incorporates IDEAL zippers, and the sleeves have action pleats for a full range of motion. The sleeve lining is smooth polyester. The sleeves are easy to thread through and provide a stress-free fit even when layered.

The key illustration of flowers is on the name tag, along with the words "CTC STORE" and "miemaru studio". It is of course a wonderful product when you wear it, but when you take it off, you will be surprised by the illustration. It is a fun and rewarding piece of clothing.

The release will start tomorrow, October 19 (Sat), and events to coincide with the release will be held at two locations on October 19 (Sat) and 20 (Sun). The Tokyo event will be held at "STOCK YARD by CTC STORE" in Shimokitazawa, run by "CTC STORE," and the Ishikawa event will be held at "one one otta," a coffee shop and space in Kanazawa with which "miemaru studio" is familiar.

There are times when you pull out last year's jacket from the closet and you are not in the mood for it. The three-way collaboration produced through down-to-earth manufacturing, unaffected by trends, will surely be with the wearer this year, next year, and beyond.
