Shangri-La means an ideal world, and there is a city in China's Yunnan Province that bears this name. This season, "Liberaders" has chosen Yunnan Province as the location for the season, and is developing a collection inspired by this place where various ethnic groups coexist.
In this 8th drop, four types of jackets, pants, hats, and caps from the 3-layer material series will be released at once, as well as a souvenir jacket with embroidered travel route in Yunnan Province and items with military taste, which is the brand's forte.
The 3-layer jacket, the centerpiece of this year's collection, is made of a functional material with excellent moisture permeability and waterproofing properties. It is a piece of clothing that prevents rain while also preventing stuffiness, making it useful in a variety of situations in Japan, where humidity is high.
It has gusseted zip pockets on both chests and a waist pocket that can be used like a pouch, so there is no need for a bag and no need to worry about your valuables getting wet. A reflector sheet is also provided on the left sleeve.
Pants made of the same fabric are also available. The waterproof fabric is soft and comfortable to wear. Worn as a set-up with the jacket, it becomes an all-condition set-up for rainy days and outdoor activities.
Souvenir jacket made of rayon fabric with a silky texture. The back of the jacket features the travel trail of MEI, the director of "Liberaders," as he travels to Shangri-La in Yunnan Province, China, the theme of this season's collection. Iconic motifs from each region are expressed in intricate embroidery. The collarless design makes it easy to use in layered styles from now on.
The next jacket is also a collarless jacket, but this one is based on a German military quilted liner. While maintaining the military style with reinforcements such as the webbing tapes placed throughout, the jacket is made of ripstop nylon in different colors, giving it a unique Liberaders' twist. The inner lining is made of Thermolite, which is lightweight but has excellent heat retention properties.
The six-pocket army pants have been updated since the brand's establishment and have now become a standard item. This season, they are being released in wool-cotton. The richly textured fabric goes well with both sneakers and leather shoes. The Tyvek label on the back pocket shows respect for the original.
This 5-panel cap has a breathable and waterproof function. It features the brand's iconic logo of "Liberaders" on the front and a paper crane print on the side. The string cord allows for easy fit adjustment.
This safari hat is also made of a breathable and waterproof material. The webbing belt accentuates the simple design with a playful finish.
The items, which are not only functional but also show a glimpse of the playful spirit of the "Liberaders," will go on sale from October 25 (Fri.).
