A cat holds Lacoste's crocodile! A special collection is now on sale in Harajuku.

The fifth installment of this special project, exclusive to the Lacoste Harajuku store, is now available.

The special project is the "My Lacoste Artist Program. To explain once again, LACOSTE teams up with a different artist each time to launch a limited collection that fuses crocodiles and art.

MHAK/Masahiro Akutagawa, Ken Kagami, Nana Soeda, and MACCIU have participated so far.

The selected artist this time is Manabu Ogawa, a.k.a. HAyU. He has a unique background, having worked in the beauty industry and then as a horticultural farmer before starting to create wire art. His works, which use animals and other objects as motifs, are catchy, but upon closer inspection they are extremely detailed.

The unique graphic of a cat holding an alligator, an icon of his work, is one of the highlights.

Tennis is a sport closely associated with Lacoste, and a design inspired by the clay courts of Roland Garros in France, the holy land of tennis, has also been introduced.

Some of the graphics of the works were actually prototypes made with wire and put into 2D. The products are expressed by embroidery and prints.

These have been on sale since November 15. Please note that they are only available at the Lacoste Harajuku store.
