As one of the special anniversary events, August 18, ( Fri. )- "JOURNAL STANDARD Shibuya StoreVans (VANS). will be jacked up.
VANS" is all about skateboarding, and this year will be no exception. During the period, limited editions of the HALF CAB 25th anniversary model and special order items from "DOG TOWN" and "TONY ALVA," both of which are associated with "Vans," as well as the first shop-in-shop at "PILLOW HEAT" in London, "SCREEMIN' WHEELS" in Nakameguro, and other skateboard-related shops will be on sale. First, on August 20 (Sun.), a skateboarding kids school, workshops, and various events will be held at the Shibuya CAST Plaza.
The Skateboarding Kids School will be taught by Cheeses, who will share the fun and fascination of skateboarding with the kids. As workshops, there will be coloring, waffle toss, and sticker distribution, as well as the following activities by artists.

DISKAH
Born in Tokyo, Japan . Artist/photographer/skateboarder. Most of his work is based on his skateboarding and street experiences. Self-taught in both drawing and photography . In his artwork, he uses freehand lines as a base and various techniques to depict various motifs such as characters and textures. In photography, he continues to document the world from the perspective of the street. In addition to exhibiting his work in solo and group exhibitions in Japan and abroad, he is active in many other fields, including fashion, music, and advertising. As a skateboarder, he is supported by KNOWLEDGE JAPAN and DONKEY SOX.
sosnzk
. is an illustrator and artist based in Tokyo. His work is mainly based on the motif of the pizza character "Delicious Men ( Delicious Men )," and his black, cynical, pop, and street culture-influenced unique worldview has been gaining popularity. The brand has been gaining popularity for its unique worldview of black, cynical, pop, and street-culture-inspired design. While still young, he has been active in a wide range of activities with his light footwork, including collaborations with apparel brands and wall paintings at restaurants in Shibuya.
Masanao Hirayama
. Born 1976 in Kobe, Japan. . Works in painting, drawing, and performance, based in Tokyo.
And on Friday, August 25, from 7:00 p.m., there will be an in-store live performance that is typical of "Journal Standard" and "Vans".
MGF
The artist is MGF, an up-and-coming rap crew, who will hold an entrance-free in-store live performance for one night only. The venue is the Journal Standard Shibuya store. The collaboration T-shirts, which will be released exclusively at this event, will also be available for purchase.
In addition, a special collaboration item with Shibuya Ward featuring Hachiko will be produced and sold on a limited basis. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of these items will be donated to the Shibuya-ku Federation of Disabled Persons' Organizations, with the aim of promoting sports activities for the disabled conducted in Shibuya-ku, and thereby contributing to the promotion of sports for the disabled.

How to apply for the kids' school: Applications will be accepted at the venue on the day of the event. We will be renting skateboards, protectors, etc. free of charge, so children who do not have their own skateboards and protectors are welcome to join.
