THE INOUE BROTHERS was established in Copenhagen in 2004 by Japanese-Danish brothers Satoshi and Kiyofumi Inoue.

This collection is named "EL ALTO. The design incorporates an original pattern of "aguayo," a traditional Andean textile woven at a workshop in El Alto, near La Paz, the capital of Bolivia.

The special collection, a fusion of colorful and beautiful traditional Andean weaving techniques and Porter's long-cultivated craftsmanship, consists of a total of three models. The lineup is as follows.

Aguayo," used throughout, is a traditional fabric carefully woven one by one by the indigenous people of the Andes region, and is an essential item for daily life. For Bolivians living in the harsh environment of the highlands, colorful expressions play an important role in creating a positive mindset.

The colorful green and purple interior fabrics are finished to resemble a colorful aguayo.

This collaborative item comes with an original finger puppet made in Bolivia and a market bag. The lovable finger puppets, carefully woven one by one, have long been popular in Bolivia, where women make them for their children and grandchildren.

Satoshi Inoue also commented on the collaboration.

We, the Inouye Brothers, have always loved porters. We chose Bolivia, our country of origin, as the stage for our first collaboration. The word "collaboration" doesn't quite do it justice... I think we have been like partners for the past two years. The collection that was completed in this way was very moving. When I took the finished product to Bolivia, the reaction of the local female craftspeople was truly wonderful. I still remember the smiles on their faces.
