The collections we have built up to date reached a whopping 100th with the Paris Women's Collection presented in March 2017.
To commemorate this achievement, a book will be published, a retrospective of all Dries Van Noten's men's and women's shows from the first show to the present.

Divided into two books, one for shows 1-50 and the other for shows 51-100, all the shows to date are brought to life with never-before-seen photos.

Each show is accompanied by commentary by a prominent journalist. Susannah Frankel(Susannah Frankel) for women and Tim Blanks(Tim Blanks) for men detail the inspiration and creation of each collection, its background and stories in detail.
The following are the words of the designer himself.
"I like the idea of this book being a celebration of my past. I like the idea of this book being a celebration of my past, so that from now on I can focus only on the future and my further evolution as a designer. I had previously published a book to commemorate my 50th show, so the 100th was a natural progression. 100th show is truly a 'celebration' and one that I want to remember for years to come. We wanted to keep the show in our memories. The first 50 shows are in the first volume, and the 51st through the 100th shows are in the second volume, making it a two-in-one work. The text and photographs help us to remember and understand the story and inspiration behind each show, not only the show itself, but also everything that surrounds it. We are very happy to have been able to bring all the shows together in this way."

The two books will be pre-released by the Belgian publisher Lannoo in Belgium and the Netherlands in September 2017, and will be available worldwide and, of course, in Japan from October.
