Red Wing is a rare brand that releases a large number of high-quality, sturdy work boots using a manufacturing process that has remained unchanged over the years. Iconic models such as the "6-inch Classic Moc" and the "Iron Ranger" strongly reinforce this impression.
While maintaining these tough qualities, a new model was born that is somehow intelligent and smart.

The series, named "Weekender," is characterized by the classy look of chukkas and oxfords. The series combines attention to detail and lightweight comfort, making it an ideal pair for daily use as well as for activities such as short trips.
The form of these shoes is impressed by the number 64 last, which combines beauty and fit. The silhouette is minimalist in design, but also has a moderate volume that is typical of "Red Wing". The traditional pattern has been updated, and a one-piece quarter panel has been adopted for the chukka.
What further distinguishes this model is the use of a new footbed that contains 30% sustainable materials. In order to innovate for a sustainable society, we partnered with the US company Ortholite, Inc. It is environmentally friendly, provides better cushioning than conventional materials, and guarantees all-day comfort.
This one, which uses Copper Rough and Tough for the upper, has a deep flavor like a boot that has been worn in from the beginning. We are looking forward to seeing how they will look after being worn in.

This is a new leather, White Sand Mojave. It is a white-based leather with soft tones, and the bright color gives the Weekender an even more vivacious image.

This pair is also made of new chocolate-colored leather. The leather used is oiled roughout leather, which has a deep texture and unique unevenness.

And here are oxford type shoes. Like the chukka type, they are made by the stitch-down method, and the midsole is fixed by sewing to the upper. This allows the outsole to be replaced. The leather used is Copper Rough and Tough, which is a well-balanced combination of smart and rugged.

The oxford type also comes in the new chocolate color introduced earlier in the lineup. Red Wing's rough-out leather is resistant to scratches and scuffs, and also shows resistance to rain and other weather conditions, and is made of uncompromising materials that can be maintained with minimal maintenance. In other words, they can be worn with gusto and nurtured.
