Converse's Jack Purcell is boldly rearranged by Graph Paper. The result is an unprecedented loafer-type sneaker.

CONVERSE will release a pair of loafer-type sneakers created by Graphpaper on Saturday, March 29.

The base is the Jack Purcell, a perennial classic. While retaining iconic designs such as the "smile" line on the toe guard, the loafer style is boldly rearranged by adopting a U-shaped moccasin stitching with a thick count and a luxurious suede upper. The saddle holes are decorated with the "mustache" design on the heel label of the Jack Purcell.

The selection of these details is truly brilliant, and the good points of both "Converse" and "Graph Paper" are incorporated in a good balance.

This is a pair in the vein of the so-called "Converse" or "Chinverse," a rare breed, and a masterpiece, to say the least.

Our attention to detail is not limited to design. The "anatomical last" used in this work was jointly developed and created from scratch.

It also has a 13mm high insole widge to match the shape of this new last, and a fiber shank to support the arch of the foot. Combined with the Ortholite® insole, this provides rich cushioning and postural stability, resulting in a leather-like feel and excellent gait.
