Yuki City in Ibaraki Prefecture is one of the most historic cities in Japan, with its old townscape remaining strong. The live circuit music event "Yui no Oto" started in 2014 and has become more well-known with each event, and has now grown to become a high-profile event in the Kanto area as well.

The main feature of the event is the spectacular live stage performances that take place in the space of temples, shrines, and sake breweries that are the unique cultural resources of the region, as well as a wholesale store that has been producing traditional Yuki-tsumugi silk since the Nara period (710-794).
