Golden Week is approaching. We recommend this pop-up for both those in the Tokyo metropolitan area who will spend it relaxing without traveling, and those who come to Tokyo from outlying areas to visit.
A.P.C. is currently holding the "A.P.C. The Originals - DENIM POP-UP" event at "Miyashita Park" for a limited time, focusing on denim, which is synonymous with the brand.
The centerpiece of the pop-up will be customized denim, which will be sold exclusively at the event. Designed by Jean Tuitou, founder of , and Jessica Ogden, a designer with Jamaican roots, the lineup also includes standard denim, T-shirts, and the 25SS Japan-exclusive denim capsule collection. The lineup also includes standard denim, T-shirts, and the 25SS Japan-exclusive denim capsule collection.
JT ELISABETH SHORT ¥33,000 each
First of all, we would like to introduce a custom denim by Jean Tuitou. These shorts are the result of an idea to transform one pair of denim into two new items. The denim is boldly cut below the knee.
JT TOTE BAG ¥22,000 each
And this tote bag was created by sewing together the cut knees. Both items are accented with bold paintings by Jean Tuitou.
JO JEANS ¥82,500 each
JO MINI JUPE ¥33,000 each
Next is a denim and skirt that Jessica Ogden painted on worn denim, one piece at a time. The inside has a tag bearing her name. These items are recommended for those who do not want to wear the same items as others.
CASEY T-shirt ¥19,800
These T-shirts are carefully hand-dyed one by one in domestic indigo for this pop-up." Without production, creation is just an idea. This is the sincere attitude toward craftsmanship of "A.P.S.," a company that believes that "without production, creation is just an idea.
Amicus T-shirt ¥19,800
Lastly, we would like to introduce a T-shirt that was originally created as an online store exclusive item. The last one is a T-shirt that was originally created for the online store, but will be sold exclusively at this pop-up event. Atelier de Production et de Creation" on the front logo is the official name of A.P.C., which means "workshop of production and creation" in French. In French, it means a workshop of production and creation. It also bears the title "HIVER 87," the title of the collection first presented in 1987, thus marking the brand's roots.
Also, during the period, a denim passport case will be given to customers who purchase 33,000 yen or more including tax (the offer will end when all the cases are gone). Other offers include a student discount and free initial embroidery service, so be sure to visit during the period.
