We would like to be exposed to art on a regular basis, but a trip to a museum would require half a day. In this respect, galleries that are easily accessible are a welcome addition.
."Gallery Commonwill present New York-based artist Nate Lowman's first solo exhibition in Japan, starting on Saturday, April 26.
Rowman is an artist known for his style of reinterpreting pop culture with humor and irony. In 2012, he designed a T-shirt to commemorate the opening of Supreme Shibuya, and in spring 2022, he released a collaborative collection with Supreme featuring his iconic motif of bullet holes, which has been the talk of the town.

In addition to representative works such as a series of pop arrangements of the master's masterpieces, the exhibition will also feature a new series of works. The new works question the meaning behind the images we see every day. The exhibition also traces how the meaning of motifs such as golf courses and hurricanes, which appear repeatedly in his works, have been reinterpreted in an ever-changing society.
