The eyewear industry has become a battleground between the best of the best and the worst. Lunetta BADA led the Japanese eyewear culture in the 1980s, 40 years ago, and is credited with elevating eyeglasses to a fashion item.

The brand, which has produced numerous masterpieces since its relaunch in 2022, has released its sixth new collection. The theme is "Timeless Shift.

Under the contradictory themes of "universality" and "innovation," the collection features timeless beauty and a variety of gems with details and functionality that fit the mood of the moment.

No. 354," which inherits the history of the brand, is a reprint of one of the models featured in "LunettaBADA/ Aldo Fallai in the Shade," which was published in 1989 as the brand's image catalog. Its original shape is an epoch-making item representing LunettaBADA, which sublimated glasses into a fashion item.

In addition, "73/06," with its beautiful combination of titanium modeling and inner plastic, is a modern interpretation of archival parts and appears in a new incarnation. A total of six models will be released, including five new models and one new color, such as "73/05," which features new original temples also inspired by archival parts with flowing ovals, and "78/03," which stands out for its contrast of different materials.

It will go on sale on May 2 (Fri.) at authorized dealers nationwide. The sun is gradually getting stronger, so it would not be a bad idea to check it out.
