Bali, Indonesia is known as one of the world's leading beach resorts. Bali is known for its magnificent nature, sacred temples, historical ruins, and unique culture, including Balinese dance.
This is the 12th drop of the "Liberaders" Spring/Summer 2013 collection, and the lineup includes a variety of T-shirts that incorporate the landscape and culture of Bali.
GRADIENT DYED TEE ¥12,100 each
First, a piece colored in beautiful gradations of color. Each piece is dyed by a craftsman by brush, and the colors represent the sunrise and sunset in Bali. On the front, a photo of the Balinese landscape taken by Mei Yong, the director of the company, is embedded.
CANDI BENTAR TEE ¥8,250 each
This design is based on the traditional Indonesian architectural style known as "CANDI BENTAR," which can be seen at the entrance to temples, palaces, and cemeteries in Bali. The powder-frosted finish gives it a worn look.
DINER TEE ¥8,250 each
Creating graphic items with a fictional 00 theme is a specialty of the Liberaders. This time, we imagined a fictional diner in Bali and completed a staff T-shirt to be worn by the employees of the diner.
COLLAGE TEE ¥9,350 each
As explained at the beginning of this article, Bali is a place with diverse expressions. This T-shirt features a collage of such multifaceted scenery, boldly printed on the front. As the words "MAGICAL ISLAND" suggest, this T-shirt expresses an enchanting island.
VORTEX TEE ¥7,700 each
Inspired by vintage surf T-shirts, this piece features an impressive graphic circle pattern on the back. The design is based on the theme of the ocean, which is an essential part of Bali, and the brand name is placed like a whirlpool for a playful finish.
EMBROIDERY NYLON CAP ¥7,700 each
In addition to the T-shirts, the lineup also includes 6-panel caps made of water-repellent nylon taffeta. The caps are available in orthodox black and a camo pattern inspired by Bali's magnificent nature.
These new items will go on sale on Friday, May 23.
