The new season of Body of Work, a Canada-based activewear brand that has been steadily gaining fans for its sophisticated designs and solid quality since its launch in the fall/winter 2021 season, is said to be further expanding this season. This season, however, the line has been further expanded.
Of particular note is a pair produced in collaboration for the first time with MEPHISTO, a long-established French shoemaker that is now in the spotlight once again. The model, which was unveiled at a pop-up event currently being held at the select store "COLBO" in New York, is attracting attention as a model that symbolizes the fusion of artistry and craftsmanship in modern footwear.
The base of this collaboration is MEPHISTO's top-of-the-line "Match" walking shoes. The high quality of each pair, carefully tailored by skilled craftsmen working in local workshops, is a characteristic of this uncompromising attention to detail, and represents the values shared by both parties in this collaboration.
The design, which is made of the finest Italian suede, is a special edition not found in the inline line, and is unified with Body of Work's image color, brown. The brand name casually stamped on the tongue expresses respect for the company's partners.
Sales have already started at the Body of Work online store, so be sure not to miss out if you are interested.
This season also marks the long-awaited launch of a women's line, with the 1st collection featuring cardigans, T-shirts, tank tops, pants, and headwear.
All of them are a thoughtful lineup that is easy to wear on a daily basis, so the ladies should check them out as well.
