This faded MA-1, reminiscent of the passage of time, is custom made from vintage American-made pieces.

This work is the result of a session between LES SIX and Santiago Sierra.

Santiago Sierra is a Spanish artist who creates works with a sharp perspective on political and social issues.

The release will feature 10 custom bomber jackets and 20 T-shirts inspired by his seminal work, 85 Yemeni and Syrian Refugee Teeth.

All are one-of-a-kind and feature a different "tooth" motif on the back. Each is signed by the artist.

This project was realized through personal interaction with Santiago Sierra by Ryohei Kawanishi, designer of "Resis".

When I was in my 20s, I attended an artist talk at the Lisson Gallery in London and was strongly attracted to the sweater Santiago was wearing. I couldn't find the same one, so I recreated it myself based on the video and sent it to him a year ago with a letter. That was the beginning of this collaboration.

To celebrate the launch, a pop-up event will be held in Shibuya, Tokyo, from June 5 (Thu). Come and check out the special piece at the event.
