The 35thApostasy?
When you run a company, you may face a variety of internal infrastructure issues.
. dryness issues in the winter, how well the air conditioner works, how well the hot water toilet seat works, wireless internet access, leaks in the building, and so on.
When there is no problem, there is no problem at all, but when there is a problem, it is very difficult to repair or maintain the equipment due to the cost and time involved.
Not an infrastructure problem, but rats seemed to have invaded the company the other day and caused a bit of a stir. Feces on desks and dust flying around , not a very pleasant situation for those who work there.
We immediately called a contractor to take care of the problem, but he told us that the rats had probably entered through the front door, but since it was an office, there was no food, and since they did not know where the exit was, they probably wandered from place to place and made mischief. He told me that rats were moving in large numbers due to the redevelopment of Shibuya.
It is indeed a great thing that this vendor's trick led to the capture of the fish the next day.
We are still on the warpath because we are not sure if it is one or more than one, but it appears that there are no others, which is a bit of a relief.
. off topic. Infrastructure issues.
Every office basically uses an office phone, a telephone that can be used to place calls on hold, call extensions, etc. . We did the same.
However, in this age of information technology, and in the era of one cell phone per person, we felt that it would be unwise to use both a cell phone and a landline, so we introduced a system in which each person's cell phone is converted into an office phone. Each floor has a priority phone, and when an outside line rings, it emits a ring tone, and the person who answers the call can use his or her own cell phone to receive the call. The person responding to the call can then pick up his or her own cell phone and call the internal staff by extension.
. . it has cleared my desk of the cumbersome handset and cord.
. not without its problems. . is the slightly unpolished usability and design of the application's user interface.
The latter is so bad that it seems to have been created by an untrained engineer with no education in design at all.
At the time of introduction, we negotiated with them to see if we could do something about this, but they said it would take a huge amount of man-hours and cost to change this design.
. In fact, I have seriously considered not introducing it because of its poor design. However, I could not change my mind, so I had no choice but to use it. I am sure that there are many companies that have hesitated to introduce the system because they do not like it. I think there is room for improvement.
Both iPhone and Android phones are quite serious about interface design. If it is not good enough, it will not be popular among young people in the volume zone.
It is like serving a no-good dish in a super cool crystal bowl. It is a humiliation to the hard.
Well, there's no need to be so vehemently dismissive, but I would like to see a little more of the Steve Jobs mindset in the companies that make these things.
. and it is the new iPhone. It will be released on September 20, which means tomorrow.
I don't think I've ever seen a model of the iPhone that has been so hard to get a bite out of in all the previous generations of iPhones. Where is the job mindset?
I myself am still using an iPhone 7 and have already pre-ordered this new iPhone because the battery has recently worn out , but I am not too happy about it.
. I could have gone with the old model, but my desire to try out the best quality won out over my complaints.
It is hard to switch to Android because of the Apple Watch, Apple Music, and of course Apple for the computer.
However, I wonder if there is no possibility of a sectarian change in the near future.
