The feeling of playing music in nature.

-Please tell us a little bit about today's live performance. Between songs, I was impressed by the way you communicated with the audience by constantly goofing off with your hands.
Shibata: We are checking each other's vibes or ...... normal operation (laughs). I guess I was getting worked up because it was outside (laughs).
- The first half of the set was a series of songs from "YOUR FAVORIT THINGS," followed by representative songs from the past catalog, and ending with songs from "YOUR FAVORIT THINGS" again. The set was wonderfully composed, with songs from "YOUR FAVORIT THINGS" in the first half, followed by representative songs from the past catalog, and ending with songs from "YOUR FAVORIT THINGS" again.
Shibata: I put together the setlist without thinking at all about whether we would play a few songs from this album or not.
However, 60 minutes is quite long for a solo performance, so I brought a gut, which I usually use only for one-man shows, and other instruments so that the audience would be able to listen to the music.

- The songs from "YOUR FAVORIT THINGS" have a strong band sound, but it was also very tasteful and wonderful to perform them alone. Was there a moment in your mind when you were excited by today's live performance?
Shibata: I've never tried to connect songs by myself, but today I'd like to try it. ......
- You know the part in the second half where "24 Seconds" led to "Regret"? It was very good!
Shibata: It was okay! I don't know if the audience got excited or not, but personally, that was a point I wanted to draw attention to this time, so thank you for noticing. I'm going to make it more of a thing in the future and get used to it (laughs).

- Are there any things you are aware of when it comes to attending festivals?
Shibata: I know there are many customers who like various kinds of music, so I hope that they will be able to grasp something, even if only a little. I also hope that both myself and the audience can enjoy the show.
-Festivals are being held in many places every weekend, aren't they? How do you see this unprecedented festival bubble?
Shibata: I have not really thought about it, but I think that festivals are fun, so I would want to make a lot of them. I have had the experience of going to festivals and having a good time. I would be happy if there were festivals every weekend.

- What kind of quality festivals do you think of?
Shibata: Like throwing garbage away properly, or being environmentally conscious. I am happy when everyone keeps order. I would also like to see a relaxed mood and a stress-free space.
-For us, the sense of togetherness and the feeling of being in the midst of nature are the kind of nourishment you can only get at festivals.
Shibata: I think that is the same with our customers. It is refreshing and pleasant to be in the mountains and in touch with nature, as we are doing today. I know it is difficult when it rains or when the weather is harsh, but that fresh feeling is also good.
- Are there any festivals that you wish existed?
Shibata: A festival with unified genres is fun, but I think it would be great if various kinds of music came together. It would be fun to have a lineup that crosses borders.
