Effortless style proposed by Yuta Kaji. VOL.2 YU (I Don't Like Mondays.)

HAWKINS, named after its founder George Thomas Hawkins, was born in London in the 19th century. With its roots in the manufacture of military and work boots, Hawkins is widely known around the world for its durable and practical footwear. After the explosive popularity of the "Traveler Series" in Japan in the 1990s, the brand is now once again attracting attention amid a trend of reissue and reevaluation. The new "Liam Series" is a modern update of the spirit of such a brand. Combining the presence of classic work boots with functionality such as waterproofing and cushioning, it has emerged as a new standard that accompanies you in your daily life. So, for this issue, stylist Yuta Kaji, who proposes fashion with an effortless sense of style, expressed the appeal of these boots through his own filter. The guest model for the second issue is YU from the rock band "I Don't Like Mondays.

Style 03: The subtlety of a loose feel that gives a rough style a grown-up look.

Here, a pair of sweatpants with a gradient effect is worn with a deep V-neck. The combination of these rough items is finished in a style with an urban air.

This is the most relaxed styling of all. I was conscious of how to make it look mature. The key is the feet. I think the overall impression changes greatly depending on what kind of shoes you wear.

Mr. Kaji chose the brown "Liam Lace. The uneven coloring and wear of the natural leather makes each pair different from the next, giving them a rich expression.

The gradation of the pants and the texture of the leather are linked to each other, creating a good sense of comfort. I think we were able to create a cohesive overall balance while adding a bit of fun to the footwear. I think they are perfect not only for casual everyday style, but also for travel and weekend occasions.
