Kojima: All-white (or all-black), Vibram soles, and a Gore-Tex upper. This combination is a winner.
Fuinam: I see. After all, the "Air Force 1" itself is a timeless classic.
Kojima: With Gore-Tex—the king of waterproof and breathable materials—and Vibram—the king of traction and durability—I think these are shoes you can count on no matter the weather.
Fuinam: Have you tried them on yet, Mr. Kojima?
Kojima: I wore these when I visited the Gore-Tex lab in Shenzhen, China, the other day. They don’t slip on wet floors, and I can move around without worrying about the rain. They worked out great.
Fuinam: The details are really well thought out.
Kojima: For example, the toe panel has a “punching-style” design, and the heel logo is embossed rather than embroidered. The key point is that it preserves the essence of the “Air Force 1” without compromising the functionality of the Gore-Tex.
