The comedy duo Kaname Stone made it to the finals of the M-1 Grand Prix in 2025 as losers. Since that night, the duo has been very busy, appearing on numerous TV programs and traveling around Japan on their manzai (comic dialogue) tour. On this particular day, they were carrying Outdoor Products bags from Tokyo to the M-1 tour venue in Nara. While accompanying them on their day, which began with a major delay, we asked them about their views on fashion and their way of traveling.

Born in 1986 in Ibaraki Prefecture, he entered NSC Tokyo in 2009 with his best friend since junior high school, Makoto Yamaguchi, and formed Kaname Stone in 2010, and has been a member of Maseki Entertainment since 2017. In 2025, the last year of the group's 15-year existence, they made their first appearance in the finals of the M-1 Grand Prix.

Makoto Yamaguchi

Born in 1986 in Ibaraki, Japan, he entered NSC Tokyo in 2009 with his best friend since junior high school, Leiji, and formed Kaname Stone in 2010, and has been a member of Maseki Entertainment since 2017. 2025, the last year of the group's 15-year existence, they made their first final appearance in the M-1 Grand Prix 2025, winning the losers' revival round. With that single word, our business trip coverage began. Out of breath, Mr. Zero of Kaname Stone ran into the meeting place at Tokyo Station. When asked why, he said that after traveling from his home to Shibuya, he realized he had forgotten his ticket and had to turn back. His partner, Mr. Yamaguchi, who had already arrived and was waiting for him, greeted him with a laugh and said, "Kibishii.

They have been best friends since junior high school and have lived together for 16 years. They are literally together at all hours of the day and never leave each other, even on the bullet train.

Zero:They're always next to each other.

Yamaguchi:Of course.

Zero:If the tickets I got were too far apart, I'd change seats and sit next to them.

Yamaguchi:In AC.

Zero:The formation that leaves seat B open and sits in A and C is the strongest.
