We continue to see your works everywhere. Do you basically work in this studio all the time?
FACE: Yes, it is. I'm moving all over the place in this.
I heard that you have been doing more activities other than illustration recently.
FACE: Actually, I made puppets. There are 7 puppets in total, each with its own character, and they can be musicians or artists. I have been doing a lot of recording and filming for them lately. I've also started making videos, so I feel like I'm in a flurry of activity.
Is this recent?
FACE: In the past month or so, I have bought a lot of things and have been doing a lot of things with them. Blue puppets are all over the place, but I want to say that I didn't start out trying to imitate them (laughs).
Are you sensitive to fatigue?
FACE: I haven't thought about it much. However, I am often told that my shoulders are stiff. I don't have any symptoms myself, though.
Do you feel any stiffness in your neck, shoulders, or body while working?
FACE: That's right. However, when I have been working hard from morning till night, I do get tired. I am getting older, so I think it is time for me to be more conscious of my health.
Have you ever tried recovery wear?
FACE: I don't have any, but I am very interested in Sixpad's products. I am also concerned about my health due to aging.
What kind of image did you have of recovery wear?
FACE: To be honest, I have a strong feeling of "Really?" I have a strong feeling of "Really? I am the type of person who does not believe in supplements. However, I had been drinking a tea at lunch that was supposed to be good for my health, and I had been doing so for about two years. Then one day, my bad cholesterol level, which had been high, went down. The doctor asked me, "What are you doing?" The only thing I could think of was tea. So now I think that if I keep wearing it and drinking it, I will slowly start to feel the effects.
You don't play any sports, do you?
FACE: Not at all. So, just like tea, I think it is important to have something that I can stick to. I don't like to exercise, but just wearing recovery clothes is fine. If it's easy and healthy, that's the best. That is why I will continue to wear "sixpad" recovery wear.
This work is also designed to be worn with everyday fashion.
FACE: Most of these sporty items are basically narrow and tight in body width, but the shape is very modern. The silhouette is boxy and the sleeves are long. I also liked that the logo was understated.
Some people are concerned about the logo.
FACE: Sixpad" has a strong image of abs, doesn't it? Just recently, I was working on a scalp care product. It's not that I suffer from thinning hair, but I was simply doing it as part of my job. When that happens, the delivery person's eyes are drawn to my head.
I thought that if there was a Sixpad logo, people would be able to see my abdomen (laughs).
FACE: Yes, and I think I would look at it in the opposite way (laughs). I don't really want to be seen as a trainee, so if it's just a logo on the sleeve, it's really easy to wear. Also, I like fabrics that have a bit of bounce and thickness. I often wear shorts in the summer, but I'm too old to wear a terry T-shirt at that time, so I think I can wear this one. I'm looking forward to wearing it again in the future, since it is said to help relieve fatigue.
