Ruby, you often do yoga like this, don't you?
Ruby: I am not a yoga master, but I have been doing it for about 16 years. I have been involved in ballet and gymnastics since I was a child, so physical conditioning has always been close to my heart.
So that's the time to refresh your mind and body.
Ruby: That's right. Now I spend my time not only doing yoga, but also Pilates in between, meditation, contemporary dance, and a mix of other things.
So, have you been aware of your body since you were a child?
Ruby: I was the type of person who would get on the scale every day since elementary school and was very sensitive to differences in weight. I think I was naturally aware of changes in my body from a young age.
Are you sensitive to fatigue?
Ruby: I feel that my shoulders are heavy, my neck is not stretched, or my hip joints do not open properly when I walk. When that happens, I do yoga or go to a public bath.
Have you ever worn recovery wear before?
Ruby: I didn't have any, but a friend of mine told me that she wears recovery wear after running, and I was really curious about it. I thought it would be a good idea to wear it when doing yoga.
Ruby, you have small children, so it's hard for you to find time to take care of yourself.
Ruby: It's really true, and things don't always go as planned, like the kids not sleeping, happenings, etc. Then I have to eat late at night and take baths very shortly. Then dinner is late and bath time is very short. After all, after about three days of not being able to make time for myself, fatigue sets in. And because I don't have time to take care of myself, I thought "sixpad" recovery wear was the perfect solution because I can take care of my body just by wearing it. I really want to recommend this product to busy mothers.
How do you feel when you actually wear it?
Ruby: Above all, it feels good. When you wear it, you feel like you have another covering over your skin. It is like wearing a mobile suit. I also feel that the heat stays inside the clothes.
There has always been a "debate" about whether recovery wear is effective. How do you feel about that?
Ruby: I am sure there must be some kind of effect, but that doesn't mean that one day you will suddenly become muscular, or that an unhealthy person will become super healthy the next day, etc. I feel that it is more about how you perceive it.
I see.
Ruby: As with supplements, I think the way you feel will be different if you take them with the expectation that they will make a difference, or if you just continue to take them without any thought. In that sense, I feel that Sixpad's recovery wear is better than those of other manufacturers because it is a brand with a long history and can be adopted in a natural and positive manner. The brand has knowledge and know-how about muscles, so I feel secure.
Finally, from a fashion point of view, what do you think of this T-shirt?
Ruby: The exquisite light beige color, which is neither white nor beige, is the best. Most recovery wear is pure white or pure black. I have my current skintone due to my background and the care I have taken in the past, but I sometimes feel that it is still difficult to find a color that blends well with my skin in Japan. In such a situation, this color blended very naturally with my skin. I didn't even notice the logo at first. I thought it could be worn as a plain T-shirt as well. It's not too quirky, so it's a good length for shorts or denim. I would like to use it for yoga and any other occasions.
