The “GAR” clothing is just right for our outdoor activities.

Spring is the season for outdoor fun. Riding a bike and going a little further afield, or spending time in the park with your usual friends. The North Face's new "General Athletic Recreation (GAR)" line of clothing is what you want to wear during these times. This collection is inspired by trail running, so it is lightweight, compact, and functional. And yet, it goes well with the old clothes and denim you normally wear. Spend active time with your close ones in comfort with "GAR".

RUNE is in charge of repairs and customization at the Harajuku bicycle shop "Broachers. She first encountered pisto bikes when she graduated from high school, and her love for them grew into a job. When she plays outside, a bicycle is a must.

At first I rode a road bike to work, but it wasn't enough. Then I tried a pisto bike, and it was so much fun that I got more and more into it. Of course, I use my bike as a means of transportation, but when I want to enjoy riding for fun, I join group rides. I ride with friends, have fun, and go home. The round trip takes about three hours.

She is wearing a sweatshirt parka with the "GAR" logo as she rides briskly. A special knitting machine gives it a soft, gauze-like feel, and it also has a UV-protection feature to help you beat the sun's ultraviolet rays.

I was surprised at how lightweight it is. Many parkas are thick, so they can be heavy and hard to move around in, but I don't have that stress at all. It looks great with the denim and baggy pants I often wear. I want to wear it this spring and enjoy running along the seaside in the Chiba area.
