Yukiha and Gen met while working part-time and started dating. Currently, Yukiha works as a barista at “Sidewalk Stand” in Nakameguro, while Gen works as a bartender at “Breakfast Club.” When they’re together, they often spend their time relaxing—taking walks around the neighborhood or walking their dog. The appeal of "GAR" clothing lies in its comfort—you can wear it without hesitation even on days when you aren’t doing anything special.
Gen was born and raised in Norway, and Yukiha has studied abroad in New Zealand. What they have in common is that they both have roots overseas. These two laid-back individuals prefer a casual, simple style.
“Since my father is a designer, I’ve been interested in fashion ever since I can remember. This dress I’m wearing today is exactly my style. I love that it’s not too sporty and has a sophisticated look. It feels really comfortable to wear,” said Yukiha.
She is wearing a lightweight, stretchy "one-piece dress." It's a two-way design that can be worn as a skirt by removing the top and tying it around the waist.
"I really like pairing jewelry with simple clothes like this," said Gen. "Even though I'm layering quite a bit, it's actually really cool. I don't work out much, but even someone like me could pull this off naturally."
Since the climate varies with altitude in trail running, layering is a must. Items that allow you to move comfortably for long periods without feeling constricted, even when wearing multiple layers, are highly valued. This collection incorporates that functionality into everyday life. The “GAR” collection from The North Face offers the perfect clothing for urban youth looking to enjoy the great outdoors.
