The event was attended by IQOS members selected by lottery. Some had traveled all the way from Kyoto, while others had just dropped by from their hometown of Osaka. There were newcomers who’d been using IQOS for just one year, as well as veterans with a decade of experience. Everyone had their own reasons for loving IQOS and had come to enjoy the evening. We caught up with three groups we met at the venue and asked them what they thought of the limited-edition model.

First up were Mr. and Mrs. Yamamoto, who came from Kyoto. “The colors on this limited-edition model were really beautiful. Plus, it’s so eye-catching that I don’t think I’ll ever lose it from now on (laughs). I was also thrilled to see Aoituki’s performance up close!”

Jin, who lives in Osaka, has been an IQOS user for five years. He says the reason he chose IQOS is “the design.” “Also, while previous IQOS models were mostly single-color or two-tone, this limited-edition model is more luxurious than any before. It lets me stand out from the crowd. I think it’s the best,” he says.

Ms. Takami, who also lives in Osaka, has been an IQOS user for a year. Regarding the design of the limited-edition model, she said, “It has a ‘galactic’ feel to it and looks cool. I plan to customize it even more to suit my personal style.” She mentioned that this was her first time attending a limited-edition event, and reflected, “It felt like a break from the everyday and was a lot of fun. If they hold another one, I’d definitely like to come again.”
