A one-night-only performance where people come together and sensations intertwine.
Just as the invited guests had gathered in the space that usually serves as a lounge, Aoi Tsuki suddenly appeared. They are a poetry-dance unit consisting of performance artist Aoi Yamada and dancer Tsuki Takamura.
The theme of the performance was ”blending”—a play on the name of the newly released “IQOS ILMA i Remix Model.” With the call of “Blend in, blend in!” the performers stirred up the crowd. Starting with Nishino, the participants gradually began to sway their bodies, and before anyone knew it, the entire floor had become one.
As you’d expect from two artists who perform on the world stage, the previously quiet venue was completely transformed into a lively, vibrant atmosphere after their approximately 10-minute performance.
Next, a video message from Daito Manabe, the campaign collaborator for the “IQOS Irma i Remix Model,” was played at the venue. He spoke about the limited-edition collaboration items created specifically for the campaign (described below) and shared his thoughts on the campaign.
The baton was passed to O.N.O., an artist who has also influenced Manabe. He is the artist behind all of THA BLUE HERB’s tracks, creating a one-of-a-kind soundscape through his unique production style. His DJ set further ramped up the energy of the event.
"I never go to clubs at all, but he really is a legend. It was amazing. I wish I could have heard more! (Turning to O.N.O., who had just finished his set) Can we just take a quick photo together!?" And they made sure to take a commemorative photo.
In addition, special food and drink items inspired by the “IQOS ILMA i Remix Model” were served. The blue tea, with its striking translucent blue-purple hue, offered an elegant flavor with a rose aroma that lingered on the palate. The amber sugar tart had a delightful texture, and Ms. Nishino seemed to enjoy it as well.
A workshop was also held where participants could freely combine stickers designed by Mr. Manabe—which visualized musical waveforms—to create their own original T-shirts and eco-bags. After much deliberation, Mr. Nishino chose to have the character “ni” from his last name printed on his T-shirt.
Similarly, a raffle was held for limited-edition IQOS x Daito Manabe collaboration items featuring designs that visualize musical waveforms. The prizes included T-shirts, caps, and a ceramic tray. Nishino had his sights set on the ceramic tray—which he said he’d been looking for. “Please—let me win!” Despite his earnest plea—more passionate than anyone else’s—the result was disappointing!
