FEATURE|If you are in Tokyo and don't see a play, you are missing out. Three "funny" theater companies that Seiichi Amaku, a genius, admires.

Can you find a theater company that will knock you out?

When Mr. Tenhisa mentioned your name, I was surprised to see a writer who is famous in the web industry doing theater and comedy. I know from reading your articles that you like comedy, but is there a reason why you dared to go to a real place while everyone else wants to express themselves on the Web?
Great North:I also write articles on the Internet, but I have always felt a kind of righteous indignation that laughter on the Web should be more popular (laughs)! (laughs). (Laughs.) Even if I write something funny, the people who think it's funny are silent.
. Yes, it is true that there tends to be more negative reactions on the Internet.
Tenkyu:I, too, think that today's writers should be more appreciated. In our time, for example, the "Silly Drill" was just a story in your head. But, in the Daily Portal and theamorous glance." or something like that, they actually go there and do interviews, and I also show up and show my face.

Tenkyu:It is amazing that there is a solid variety and planning of the same quality and skill in a non-television world, and that it comes out every week. At the writer's level, there is still an atmosphere of restraint between the Internet and TV, and I think it would be better if there were more places where ideas could come from the planning stage. Ohkita, you also do video work, and I think you are involved in theater and comedy as part of this trend, but I think it is interesting that you are committing yourself to something that is not part of the theater scene. If people who don't watch theater come into the scene through that, it may lead to a new connection. He himself sees the theater from the outside.
Great North:I came to Tokyo without finding a job, but I simply thought, "If I'm going to do something, I want to write a funny comedy like City Boys once.
Tenkyu:That's what you said. I said, "If I can put on one interesting performance, that's all I want. And it was rather well-received.
Great North:You keep going with it, don't you? I said I would die if I could do that, but if the response was this good, I said, "I'm not going to die yet. However, the first performance was attended by about 120 people, and the second performance was attended by about 300 people in total, so in terms of Internet page views, that's about 300 PV. So, in terms of Internet page views, it would be something like 300 PV. Since no one knows the actual situation, the number of visitors is not going to increase suddenly and unexpectedly.
Tenkyu:The people who come to me in real life are totally different.
He said, "The theater company is still very much about the actors.
Tenkyu:Most of the people who come to the theater come for the actors. They are just looking for a new production with a certain actor in it, and that's the world of theater connoisseurs. In that sense, a show like TENIMU (The Prince of Tennis the Musical) or something like that is actually the royal road.

Tenkyu:But nowadays, talented actors from small theaters are involved in plays by idols and handsome men, and interesting things may be born from them. I think it's good to mix things up. I think Ohkita is capable of using such idols, too, because he is good at using amateurs.
Great North:I'm putting my friends out there as they are. One person in the survey said, "That's a rare kind of bar reading!" . There was a person who was angry.
Tenkyu:It seems a bit nostalgic, doesn't it? There was a time when things like Tokyo Dry Batteries using Mr. Hiruko (Yoshifumi) were popular. Amateurs have more destructive power. Also, there were times when I felt that I was being explicitly "shown the expression" of the actors, which was quite harsh. It's more like coming to see a spectacle, and it's important to enjoy the sadistic pleasure of seeing people in trouble or acting uncomfortable. I am sometimes embarrassed by the academic performances of very well-trained people. It may be that I am just stimulated by my own complex.
Great North:Is it wrong to be alive and kicking?
Tenkyu:I don't like it when they come alive in front of me, and I don't like it when they don't seem to be alive, but are actually on a roll. . I don't know, maybe my personality is too bad.
The "-" is the same as the "-" in the "-".Grand Prize for Literature Written by' and 'Idiots cry at the sound of sirens.. is no different, but I have an image of Mr. Tenhisa as a master of bringing out the fun in amateurs.
Tenkyu:This is just my way of thinking, but when it comes down to laughter, there is no substitute for an amateur's one-shot. I always want to think of places and projects where I can see that moment.

gekidan_DSC08934
Tenkyu:. But, contradicting what I said earlier, if I'm going to go there anyway, I also want to be beaten up. . It's not enough if I can just say, "Ah, I see. If you meet someone who knocks you out, I think you will be hooked. We are a bit like addicts, so it has to be something special like "Nakago" or "From New York" to make us laugh. But when young people go to a show like "Marm and Gypsy" or "Matomeno," everyone says, "Wow! I've never seen that before!" I've never seen it before! I think that's really important. I think that if they are exposed to such things, they will become more interested in various things.
How do you find such an interesting theater company?
Tenkyu:Anyway, if you hear a favorable review from a friend or someone, just go to one of the places you were invited to. I think you will be shocked. It's dark, the lights are on, and people are standing around. After all, you have to go to the site to see it.
Great North:Everyone who goes to see "Marm and Gypsy" and "Mamagoto" will love them, won't they? I was moved to tears and said, "How nice!

One of the performers in "Ar of Tomorrow," Taiyou Tochiaki, runs a nightclub called Kromon Cafe by himself, and we all go there often. He used to be a dancer in Sankai Juku and traveled all over the world, so he knows the cuisine of many countries. We can have a leisurely drink with European home cooking and wine, which is not expensive. There is a kotatsu (a table with a kotatsu under the table), no air conditioner, and we eat turmeyer, or fava bean croquettes, in a place that is almost like a relative's house. . It is strange in many ways. The shopping district in Kita-Shinagawa was originally an inn town on the Tokaido Shinagawa Road, and it has an interesting atmosphere, with many new stores run by young people. There are also many people involved in the theater industry. After Shoin Shrine, Kita-Shinagawa is the next stop," says Ohkita.

Nacago."

I went to see Nakago through an acquaintance, and I was impressed by the presence of its leader, Mr. Kamata. I have seen him as an actor, but he has a destructive power. It's amazing that he doesn't give off any unnecessary blandishments. That is a miracle. He is now working as a maniac, but I wish he would come out more. (Amaku)

It seems that the Kajiwara branch is the only place where you can order "white" (mazesoba). I got hooked on it and for a while, it was the most delicious food in the world . . I was so impressed. Once I took him there, he got hooked on it, and he sometimes goes there with other actors. It's fattening, but it's very impressive.

From New York."

In a stylish space with three chairs and three men, we deviated from the daily conversation and piled up a lot of nonsense that cannot be analyzed at all. They deviate from everyday conversation and pile up nonsense that cannot be analyzed at all. There are some crude jokes, but they are miraculously chic and somehow fashionable. It's funny in a way that is extremely popular. I like the fact that neither Nakago nor From New York is at all flirtatious.
