Oshmans is an American-born sports store that was established in Japan in December 1984. Many people with active hobbies work at this store, which has been promoting fashion items as well as various sports, lifestyles, and activities in Japan, and Mr. Takahashi, who works at the Shinjuku store, is one such person.

I joined Oshman's partly because the company culture had a strong surfing and outdoors flavor. My mother used to surf, so I was interested in it as well. After I joined the company, my seniors and people around me started taking me surfing and bodyboarding, and I got really into it.

Mr. Takahashi enjoys an active lifestyle, surfing in the Kugenuma area near his home and having a barbecue at the beach once a month with his colleagues from his store. Perhaps influenced in some way by this lifestyle, her standard fashion style is simple, basic, and casual, and white T-shirts have become an indispensable part of her wardrobe.

Simple denim and a plain T-shirt is my standard style. That's what I end up wearing when I notice it (laughs). That's why I wear Haynes' Japan Fit so often. It can be used as innerwear or outerwear, and I can match it with anything. Actually, I don't often wear skirts like the one I'm wearing today, but when I try it on, I find that it blends in easily.

I became aware of the brand Haynes when I started working at Oshman's. They continue to make T-shirts, which are universal items, with sincerity. Recently, I have noticed that the brand is gaining more and more support from women as I work in the store. They feel soft to the touch, are not see-through, and the updated Japan fit is very well received. In fact, I think it is the perfect item for the coming season."
