As well as being a long-established European sports brand, it has also been used as casual fashion wear, and has recently been sold to Christian Dada, A.FOUR LABS, Gosha Rubchinskiy, Marcelo Burlon and Gosha Rubchinskiy. Kappa has recently been collaborating with renowned brands such as CHRISTIAN DADA, A.FOUR LABS, Gosha Rubchinskiy, and Marcelo Burlon, and has been expanding its business further. At this exhibition, many of the brand's valuable archives from the past, which are also included in the "Kappa Complete Manual," were on display, and we learned once again that Kappa is one of the oldest and most established sports brands from Europe.

Kappa was faster in what it was doing than any other sports brand.

The production of the history book was inspired by a visit by Kazuki Kuraishi, designer of A. for Loves, to the Italian headquarters of Kappa, where the company was founded. For Loves" designer Kazuki Kuraishi visited Kappa's headquarters in Italy, the place where Kappa was founded. I was working for A. for Loves," Kuraishi said. When I went to the Italian headquarters, I was shown the archives. When I went to the Italian headquarters, I was shown the archives. At that time, I thought that Kappa was doing things earlier than any other sports brand. I thought the history of Kappa was interesting because I learned that they did not start with sports, but with socks, and later on, they made polo shirts and started to sponsor sports from clothing. I thought the history was interesting, but it is not well known to the public, so I thought it would be good to teach people about it in some way, so I suggested making a book about it," he says. Kuraishi first learned of Kappa from the uniform worn by Juventus players at the TOYOTA CAP in 1985. I'll never forget the scene when the goal was cancelled due to offside and Platini was lying on the grass," he said.

Cecilia Botta, Director of "Basic Gallery"

Started in 1967 as a socks and underwear brand in Turin, Italy.

What kind of history does Kappa have? We asked Cecilia Botta, director of Basic Gallery, who curated this exhibition. If you trace the origin of the brand, it started in 1916. It started during the First World War, and we started making stockings at first. During World War II, we also supplied socks and underwear to the military. In 1956, the brand name was changed to K. KONTROL, which later became Kappa. One day, we had to recall all our socks because of a mistake in one of our products," said Kappa. So we changed the name of the brand and restarted it." KONTROL" is a German pronunciation, but Germany is a country that produces high quality products, so that's what inspired the name. Kappa was officially launched in 1967 (confirmed). The famous logo was created the following year, in 1968. When I was shooting a catalog for another brand's swimwear, I took a photo of a silhouette of a man and a woman sitting back-to-back, and that became the prototype for the design," he says.

The 70's, when the company caused a sensation with its exciting advertisements.

The packaging of the products released after the launch of K-Control was often well-designed, and a stimulating, slightly erotic advertising poster created in 1970 caused a sensation in Italy at the time. The photographer was the very famous Oliviero Toscani. The photographer was the famous Oliviero Toscani, and the film "Last in Tango Paris" was the inspiration for this poster. Incidentally, a poster named Kappasutora, produced in 1977, was never released, but Maurizio Vitale, then president of Kappa, wanted to use this type of poster in advertising to convey the exciting direction of the brand. Morizio Vitale, the president of Kappa at the time, wanted to use this type of poster in advertising to convey the direction of the exciting brand. In the 1960s and 1970s, the U.S. was in the midst of the Woodstock era, and love and peace was in the air among young people. In Italy, however, there was no such mood, and fashion was conservative. In 1968, John Lennon appeared on an Italian TV program, wearing a green military shirt and talking about the war. John Lennon ignited a fire in Italy, where informal style had never existed before. So Kappa also started making casual polo shirts and pants, which led to sports.

Sponsored not only football but also athletics.

In 1978, Kappa began sponsoring Juventus, and Kappa was the first brand in the world to sponsor a football team. This led to the launch of Kappa Sports in 1981. From this time on, Marco Pollione, the current CEO, took the helm of the brand, and the brand began to focus on sportswear for football, track and field, golf, and mountain sports. With regard to track and field, the brand supports the U.S. National Track and Field Team and was involved in the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics and the 1988 Seoul Olympics. Superstar athletes such as Edwin Moses, Greg Foster, and Carl Lewis, who have made their mark in the history of track and field, participated in the games wearing Kappa Sports clothing. Kappa made a full-fledged effort to address the functional aspect of the brand, and for the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics, NASA scientist Lawrence Kuznets was invited to serve as an advisor. He developed a material that could regulate the outside temperature. The uniforms, which featured a silver fabric with the red letters "USA" on them, were highly functional and well-designed, and attracted a great deal of attention.

Pride in MADE IN ITALY and seeking further functionality.

Football is an indispensable part of the Kappa Sports brand. Kappa Sport has sponsored Juventus, FC Barcelona, Ajax, and the Italian National Team. During the exhibition, the uniforms of players such as Zinédane Zidane, Alessandro Del Piero, Elias Barbosa de Sousa, and Francesco Totti will be on display. During the exhibition, many people came to see the uniforms. The uniforms around 1985-1987 were made of cotton fabric. They were knitted on a special knitting machine called a "Dubiet. And Kappa created a revolutionary uniform called KOMBAT™. The fact that the 100% is made in Italy is also a speciality of Marco Pollione. When you actually see the uniforms of famous players lined up in a row, you can see how precisely made they are. And anyway, I would like to tell you that they are beautiful products.
