What are your impressions of "Ojek"?
I usually wear sneakers, so when I try to wear proper loafers, I feel that my coordination becomes too formal. But "Ojek" is really somewhere in between, and easy to wear. The fit is very light, and there is no stress. Also, the width is wider than I expected, so it goes well with thick pants. It feels like it fits easily into my style.
What did you have in mind for the coordination?
I used to wear black T-shirts and black pants, but recently I've been feeling that combination is a bit heavy, so today I added bright colors. I added bright colors today. It's the hot season, so I wanted to keep it cool (laughs). But when it gets hot, I tend to wear T-shirts and shorts, and these shoes seem to go well with that.
In the past, the length of pants was a little shorter than "just long enough" to show the socks. However, this seems to be changing recently.
Yes, I think so. Recently, I tend to make them a little longer than the "just right" length, so that there is a little cushion between the legs. The trend has been for narrower, tapered hems, but I think that trend is spreading.
Do you think Ojek fits into this trend?
The shoes themselves are voluminous, so I think they balance well with thick pants."
What kind of fashions are you looking out for in the fall/winter of 2019?
I am interested in beige tones. As I mentioned earlier, until now I have been wearing mostly black items. That base will probably remain the same, but I would like to have items that add lightness to it. I would like to add more beige and camel colors.
