What are your impressions of "Ojek"?
I like loafers, but they are a standard item, so unless you wear them with calculation, your coordination tends to become authentic or one-dimensional. But I think the charm of "Ojek" is that it has the elegance of a leather shoe, but with the sole of a sneaker, so it doesn't take too much effort and can be coordinated with any outfit. One of my themes when deciding on a coordinated look is to mix casual and chic well, and I feel that "Ojek" fits this theme very well. They are also very comfortable.
What did you have in mind for the coordination?
I have never really thought about it. I had an image of 'gravis' as a street style, so I was thinking a lot about going with that style, but when I tried them on, I found that they felt surprisingly comfortable even with mode clothes. So I just wore what I liked (laughs).
Speaking of Mr. Ida, the folded denim is a distinctive feature of his work, as it is this time as well.
I bought this denim, and when I folded it over to get the length I wanted, I thought, 'This looks surprisingly good. I thought, 'Maybe I'll be surprised' and left it as it was.
What do you feel about the bottom trend?
I'm interested in silhouettes that are tight with flared hems, boot-cut slacks, and other silhouettes that give a sense of glamour and sex appeal. I'm also in the mood for a more flattering length.
You said that you were looking at 70's style clothing.
I'm also interested in a slightly hippie-ish mood, but if I express it in vintage clothing, it will be too stiff, so I'd like to create such a style using items from current brands. I think it would give a modern feel and create a good sense of discomfort without becoming a typical hippie style. In fact, I tried matching these shoes with a pair of staples at home."
How was it?
I didn't feel any discomfort at all! They fit a variety of pants and styles, so I felt the shoes' versatility.
Ojek, a new standard from Gravis, is not as formal as leather shoes, not as loose as sneakers, and can be worn casually, modestly, or traditionally. A small quantity is currently on RESTOCK,Online StorePlease check back soon for the
