Sunglass Lane, born on the West Coast, blends in well with the city.

Sunglasses are indispensable in the sun-drenched summer, but you don't want to be so focused on functionality that you neglect fashion. RAEN is an eyewear brand from California, where surf culture is deeply rooted. All frames with authentic designs are handmade, and professional surfers place great trust in the brand. What is the point of today's outfit?

The sunglasses I chose are classic metal round frames, so I tried to keep it modern without choosing too much heritage-like clothing.

Do you usually wear sunglasses?　What model do you have?

I wear them every day when I go to work. I have two pairs of vintage sunglasses and one pair with mirrored lenses for outside play, depending on the style and occasion.

What do you base your choice of sunglasses on?

I like sunglasses, but if I make a mistake, they can look flirtatious. Personally, I don't like light colored lenses. When I wear them, I look like I'm playing around. I want to be more sincere, even if it's just in my appearance... (laughs).

How do you spend your days off?

I practice the ukulele at home every day, whether on vacation or at work, and I haven't missed a day since I bought one on a company trip to Hawaii 3 or 4 years ago. I don't see any signs of growth, but it is a nice distraction.

What are your ambitions for the second half of 2019?

On a serious note, I would like to broaden the scope of my work. I want to broaden my knowledge and experience, as I have the opportunity to take on a variety of jobs within the company now.
