Stand by with dependable shoes that have also won desert races!
We all wore the SONIC series by Salomon. I also ran the 250 km Namib Desert Race in "SONIC RA MAX," and I personally highly recommend them. I like the stability of the thick soles with no side-to-side swaying.

The top runner was our deputy editor Yamamoto! As the runners were passing by at such a high speed, I thought to myself, "Oh no... I couldn't find him..! I couldn't find him. But then he appeared with a nice smile on his face. He looked happy and relaxed as he said, "I'm off! Next, he linked the tasuki and said, "It feels good! Nice course! He came back with a fresh smile on his face.

The second runner was the ace runner, Mr. Kobayashi. He is a fast coffee maker who runs a full marathon in the 2-hour range.

I sent him off saying, "The sun looks good on you..." and he was back in a flash, in 7 minutes and 10 seconds. I was so surprised.
And then it was my turn as the fourth runner to link the tusk!

Only 2 kilos, but very satisfied with all the omotenashi!
Receive your tasuki at the next runner-up area inside the dome and head out of the dome. The blue sky spreading out! Super clear skies!
The hot sun and the slightly cool Sapporo wind blowing on my body felt very nice!
I started running briskly, but as a self-proclaimed "ultimate fun runner" who enjoys ultra and full marathons in a relaxed manner, I was not sure of my pace for 2 kilometers, so I tried to hold back, but in the end I was carried along (laughs) and turned a corner without finding my pace.

After climbing a slightly steep hill, you will be rewarded with a "bathing corner. I was wondering if there would be a mist shower, but a staff member sprinkles water on me by hand (laughs).

There was also an aid corner at the one-kilometer mark, halfway through the race. There were Sapporo's specialty Tsukisamu anpan and Hokkaido milk cookies, but I ate so much that my mouth was dry... (laughs). Thank you for the food!

At the end of the outer perimeter, you will enter a wooded area with the soccer field on the side. This soccer field is moved directly into the dome on days when there are soccer games, and on days when there are no games, the grass is exposed to the sun like this to grow.

The shade of the trees is cool. The last part of the outer perimeter was a fun path with a bit of a trail run element.

When you get back inside the dome, you find a camera that is streaming live and pose for it! It's not often that you get to be seen on a large screen, so the next runners will notice this and appeal to you as they see fit.
