Relay Marathon In Sapporo

You can enjoy Sapporo to the fullest! Why relay marathons are fun.

Are you running, everyone? It's so hot that I don't even feel like running, but to blow away the doldrums, we headed to Sapporo, Japan! We landed in Sapporo in the summer to participate in the Kita Gas Group 6 Hour Relay Marathon in Sapporo Dome 2019. Rika Yahara, a model, MC, desert runner, beach handball player, and Salomon ambassador, contributed to this report on the 42.195-kilometer race, which loops 2 kilometers around the perimeter of the dome.

Just before connecting the tusk, he was running at full speed! At the finish line, you didn't expect...?

When I came back to the dome, it was as if I had said, "I didn't make a detour. I didn't eat any aide. I was running for real." I was running for real," and accelerate to the next runner with a "fast face" like that. Even people who are walking on the course usually run as fast as they can only at this point. It's a common sight in relays (laughs).

Once I ran, I had more than an hour to wait before the next run, so I spent the time cheering, visiting booths in the venue, and getting excited about the live performance of Blast Slump that was being held on the stage.

Ten of us relayed the 42.195 km, so each person ran 2 laps = 40 km, and I ran the third lap for the rest of the race.

The last goal was a Komodo Dragon imitation! The bold form had people near the goal buzzing, but we were glad to get a laugh out of it (laughs).

After the finish line, go to the Genghis Khan Corner directly connected to the venue!

Thank you all for your hard work!

We were welcomed by all the team members and went straight to the venue next to the finish line to enjoy Genghis Khan! It was great to be able to launch right after the finish line, with people still running by my side.

Lamb is a great source of fat-burning L-carnitine compared to beef or pork, because it's rich in L-carnitine, and it's also a great source of protein, and it's great from a recovery standpoint.

It is said to be Hokkaido's style to put all the vegetables and meat on the plate at once.

Even if it's your first time, once you link your tusk together, you are friends. You can have a common conversation, and sharing the same time and experiences will bring you closer together. Nowadays, many companies are participating in this event as part of their employee training programs.

After a delicious and filling meal, the Sapporo Relay Marathon is now over. It was fun and it felt good to run! Thank you Sapporo!
